So those of you who know me are probably wondering why the heck I have baseball on my web page, and for that matter why I have it in the sports section... You're right, I do not condone the 'sport' of baseball in any of it's forms, well, OK, beer-on-base can be fun. The bottom line is this, although I'm not a fan of the game I am a Cubs fan, so this section is only here to provide this link: Cubs.com

They say every MLB team wins 1/3 of their games and loses 1/3 of their games, it's the last 1/3 that really matters. So here's what the Cubbies' remaining 1/3 looks like. [The more blue, the better]

There's been a debate, of course, over what I think actually justifies a sport, and how I can be a Cubs fan without recognizing baseball as a sport. First, let me clear this up, I have no disrespect for the abilities of baseball players, it is a fine skill that they posses and practice, and I'll go as far as to call baseball a game, as it is defined, but then again, so is Monopoly. So, where most abandon the argument is when they recognize that my claim has more to do with semantics than anything else. So feel free to stop reading at this point if this has cleared it up for you. For the rest, here is the list, as concise as I can make it, on what I think are requirements of a sport, along with examples either way.
Soccer sport
Track & Field skills
Hockey sport
Auto Racing skill
Basketball sport
Football game
Racquetball sport
Baseball game
Now, football is one I've been stuck on, but it fails to meet the required running-around percentage of a sport by my definition.
